There are many people who strongly support the aims and policies of the Conservative Party but who, because of business, professional or other commitments, do not have the time to be actively involved in the Conservative organisation.
The Sussex Weald Patrons Club provides a means of channelling the interest of such people in this Constituency. It is one of 70 Patrons Clubs successfully established throughout the country.
Objects
To provide a forum in which members can express their views directly to senior members of the Conservative Party.
To assist in ensuring a sound Conservative organisation in the constituency and also help the party nationally.
About the Club
There is an annual dinner in London and a summer reception at a member’s house with a senior member of the Party as Guest Speaker on each occasion. Members receive a private personal report from the Member of Parliament, giving them her views on current Government policy and matters being considered by Parliament.
Subscription
The annual subscription includes the cost of the dinner in London as well as the summer reception. The cost is £450 for a couple or £350 for a single member, payable annually. This is separate from your Party membership which is now handled direct by CCHQ Membership Dept .
