New Parliamentary constituencies came into force as a result of the 2023 Boundary Commission Review.
As such. Wealden ceases to exist -- parts to the west (Uckfield, Buxted, Forest Row, Danehill and Maresfield) being transferred to the new constituency of East Grinstead and Uckfield. Arlington ward has moved wholly into Lewes constituency. The remainder of the former Wealden has joined with Heathfield and other areas to the east (including Five Ashes, Cowbeech, Cross-in-Hand and Punnetts Town) to create the new Sussex Weald.
The former Wealden MP, Nusrat Ghani has been elected as the new member to represent Sussex Weald.
