I intend to make a difference. I have been resident in the area for a number of years, and I want to be able to make a positive impact in my town.
As owner of a local business which focuses on products and services geared to improving the environment, my skillset is one of an organised, analytical and critical nature. I believe that our town’s funds should be spent in a fair and logical manner, and It is important to do thorough research, and explore all options available, in order to make the most appropriate and informed decisions.
I am also a keen sports-person, and committee member of a local sports club. I have represented England in international hockey, which, in itself requires passion, resilience, humility, bravery and confidence. These are all qualities which will enable me to ensure our local town is run in a fair and systematic manner.
I will work hard to build consensus and to find solutions to the challenges that our town faces, and make it a better place. This will enable residents to benefit in many ways in a more efficiently and effectively-run town council.
