Jeannette Towey was born and raised in London and moved south with her family in 1999. She has many years’ experience as a management consultant focusing on the public sector and has worked in central and local government, defence and health.
She believes this will prove invaluable in helping to identify how council services can be improved and made more efficient.
For the last four years Jeannette has been a director of Conservatives for Women, a volunteer organization that fights gender ideology and advocates for women’s rights and child safeguarding. She has worked closely with other groups in this area to develop common sense teaching materials for schools on sex education.

Jeannette moved to Crowborough from Tunbridge Wells 15 years ago and has worked to improve the lives of local people ever since.
Jeannette is working closely with Nus Ghani and Crowborough Shield to fight the Home Office’s plans at Crowborough Army Camp and is out stewarding the marches most Sundays.
Jeannette is also working with Nus to push for the reopening of the Birthing Unit at Crowborough Hospital and for the MIU to be sustainably staffed.
Jeannette has worked with local people and the CPRE to fight planning applications on green field sites, particularly focusing on the damage to fragile habitats.
