Wealden Conservatives - working for you in Frant & Wadhurst

Conservative councillor for Frant & Wadhurst, Johanna Howell, has been helping the community do their bit to improve the neighbourhood.

The hard-working local councillor went out litter-picking in Frant early on  Sunday morning to tidy up the area. Several sacks of discarded litter were collected from and around the highway.

"It was so good to see the community turn out to clear the rubbish thrown from car windows", she said.

This activity is set to become a regular feature in Frant Parish to help clean up our parish.

Whilst on the A267, she noted the speed of the traffic, and how often vehicles must be exceeding the 30mph. "Also, the volume of traffic along this stretch seems to have increased significantly in recent years", she said.
