Green Party's fantasy collides with reality in Corwborough over Government's asylum camp plans

Is Crowborough Migrant Camp now just a prop for Deputy Green Party Leader and Wealden District councillor Ms Millward’s Mayoral campaign in left-leaning Brighton?

Or has she just got zero self-awareness or empathy with the fears of Crowborough residents?

The people the Home Office want to place at Crowborough camp have arrived here illegally (small boats route) with many substantially undocumented. The Home Office have made it clear that these “Asylum seekers” will be males mostly aged 20 to 30 years old.

The nonsense spouted in a video on social media by Green Party Deputy Wealden District Leader Councillor Millward -- who we note visited the Crowborough camp site for the first time just yesterday as a prop for one of her social media selfies  --  is an attempt to distract local people from her initial reluctance to challenge the Home Office and an effort to placate criticisms of hypocrisy from within her own Party and wider media following a belated U-turn on exploring a legal challenge by the ruling Wealden Alliance (Lib-Dems/Greens/Labour).

These migrants are clearly not the surgeons, lawyers and doctors she alludes to in her video.

First, because if they did belong to such professions they would have sought to go down the legal route in France (a safe country) from whence many have arrived; second, because none of these professions would be able to practice in the UK, while their claim is processed, even if they did have these skills in their own country (she mentions Eritrea & Afghanistan). Third, because the majority are too young to have acquired these skills anyway.
The Green Party leadership largely live in a bubble unaffected by the consequences of their own “open borders” political fantasies.

To reprise their crackpot manifesto and local action, the Green Party want the following:
1. A world without borders.
2. Illegal Migration never a criminal offence
3. No such thing as an illegal migrant
4. All illegal migrants should be treated as citizens in waiting
5. Opposition to the repatriation of illegal migrants
6. Designating East Sussex a City of Sanctuary and refusing to share data around illegal migrants with the Home Office
